Sparkle and Jehovah

Idea for a TV Series

;

Sparkle and Jehovah

;

Sparkle and Jehovah are a crime fighting duo that breaks all the conventions. Jacob Sparkle (played by me, previously Jesus in the St. Margaret’s Church of England Primary School Easter EGGstravaganza) is a wise cracking, safe cracking maverick who refuses to conform. Comfortable with his sexuality Sparkle wears a sequined cat suit. His extravagance is his trade mark and also his greatest downfall.

His partner Jehovah Jacobs is the common sense to Sparkles crazy take on life. Jehovah is devoutly religious and always wears a turban. This is mildly confusing as his religion is Scientology.

;

In addition to Sparkle and Jehovah there are two other key characters.

Balthazar, Sparkles Llama. Sparkle rides around New York City on his Llama. Attached to the Llamas tail is a trailer, in which Jehovah rides, preaching to the unconverted.

;

The woman in Sparkles life is Annette. Down to earth, yet strikingly beautiful we know very little about her. She hails from Small Town, Illinois, and has been in the big city for 2 years. Some say she is only around for the Llama, others the Cat Suit, but if you were to ask Sparkle he would tell you that this is ‘The Real Deal, Baby’.

;

As Sparkle and Jehovah travel around the city they discover trouble and find solutions. Jehovah is a criminal mastermind, but knows right from wrong. Neither is afraid to dish out some justice NYC style. And they are both notorious for their speed on the draw. Sparkle has shot 8 men dead; Jehovah has 27 (although 9 were in a spell in the army, and 6 others in one day).

;

The Cops are always on Sparkle and Jehovah’s backs, but those guys just hate the fact that these two bad mothers get results.

;

At the end of each episode Sparkle cracks a joke related to the Episode. He could have been a stand up comic, but he chose to protect the streets, because ‘Someone has to’.

;

Jehovah sleeps 15 hours a day. His catchphrase is ‘Ok you do that, while I go to bed’.

;

Even in his sleep Jehovah is more effective than the whole of the NYPD.

;

A cause of constant tension is Jehovah’s religion. The crime fighting duo’s arch nemesis, Malaky (Played by TV’s Tom Bosley) was once in their grasp, but Jehovah stopped to pray and he escaped them. Sparkle commented ‘Man he wants to Pray, while I want the Prey’.

;

The first 6 episodes will be;

;

Free (the) Masons

;

A group of 6 Freemasons are being held hostage by some of Malaky’s goons in an attempt to gain control of the free world. While the cops stall on decisions, Sparkle and Jehovah spring in to action and save the day,

;

;

Chinese Takeaway (The bodies)

;

Down in China town there have been a hell of a lot of murders carried out by a protection racket, looks like Sparkle and Jehovah are going to be filling up a few more hospital beds tonight.

;

Cop Out

;

An officer from the NYPD has come out as gay; and his Lieutenant is treating him bad. Sparkle and Jehovah bring equal opportunities to the force, and give the NYPD their first disabled Lieutenant in to the bargain.

;

(S)Park(le) and Ride

;

Sparkle is on a runaway bus. Can Jehovah and Balthazar get there in time before the whole thing goes in to the sea?

;

Your mum’s a dirty (Je)Ho(vah)

;

Jehovah finally meets his biological mother, a prostitute on the East Side of the city. Can they get this drug addicted slut out of there?

;

Sparkle and Jehovah (Deceased?)

;

Jehovah disappears during a religious weekend. Where is he? Sparkle finds a mutilated body and sets about settling some scores, but is that body Jehovah?

;

More episodes can be thought up on request.
